Unlike many centers in North America which primarily teach the "Modern" or "Western" approach, Casa de Prana focuses on the significance of discovering meaning and purpose in life through energy work. Taught in the method developed by Mikao Usui in 1921, the classes prioritize small group settings to ensure individualized attention and four attunements for both Reiki 1 and Reiki 2, allowing the energy and empowerment to flow effectively from teacher to student.

Reiki Internship Program

Join us at Casa de Prana for our upcoming 4-week Reiki Internship Program, specially designed for Advanced Reiki Practitioners and Reiki Masters seeking to deepen their skills and knowledge in the field of Reiki.

This intensive program delves into advanced topics to address challenging experiences encountered during Reiki sessions. Participants will explore advanced therapeutic techniques, including the releasement of spirit attachments and other foreign energies, as well as the utilization of advanced protection techniques. Additionally, participants will learn effective responses to non-traditional client reactions, gain practice with Distant Reiki sessions, and cultivate a professional therapeutic presence.

Under the guidance of experienced mentors, participants will have the opportunity to gain direct-care experience by providing hands-on supervised sessions to clients with significant health or emotional concerns. The program aims to equip participants with the necessary training and confidence to operate as Reiki professionals.

Eligibility for the Internship Program is open to graduates of Reiki Classes at The Reiki Center or individuals who can demonstrate equivalent experience and training from another reputable institution.

Please note that successful completion of this course is a prerequisite for enrollment in the Master Level Teacher class.

At Casa de Prana, we assume that participants are comfortable with the material covered in previous classes and have sufficient experience in delivering treatments to derive maximum benefit from the program.

For individuals who are not graduates of The Reiki Center, an assessment will be conducted to ensure their knowledge aligns with the Center’s advanced curriculum.

Each class session will be 2.5 hours long, consisting of a combination of lectures, discussions, hands-on practice sessions, and guided meditations. Participants will also receive reading materials, assignments, and reflection exercises to deepen their understanding and integration of the teachings.

Upon successful completion of the 4-week internship, participants will be eligible to enroll in Reiki Level 3 training, equipped with the foundational knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary for advanced Reiki practice and spiritual growth.

Reiki Level 3: Spiritual Healing

Casa de Prana is pleased to extend the opportunity to participate in the Master Level training to individuals who exhibit exceptional proficiency, unwavering professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to upholding the highest standards of Traditional Reiki. We believe this advanced training will further enrich your expertise and deepen your connection with the principles of Reiki practice.

Carolee Rodriguez, LMT, serves as the Director of Casa de Prana and the instructor for the Master Level training.

In the Traditional method, students must be invited to participate in the Master Class Training; registration is not open to all. This selective practice ensures that only those demonstrating proficiency in the essential elements achieve the highest level of training at Casa de Prana. Five fundamental elements determine a student’s readiness for the Master Level: skill competence, life mastery commitment, compassionate lifestyle, devotion, and release of ego.

During the Master Level class, students undergo two Master Level attunements, learn two Master symbols, acquire the Ritual of Attunements, and receive a Manual to prepare them for potential teaching roles. The comprehensive two-day classes offer ample opportunities for dialogue and self-exploration. Successful completion of the training grants certification to teach.

Reiki level 3 represents a pivotal stage in the Reiki journey, inviting practitioners to embrace Life Mastery and spiritual healing in a profound and transformative manner. It symbolizes the embodiment of wisdom, deep spiritual insight, and the ability to harness the energy of the universe for the highest good.

Skill Competence: Mastery of the techniques and practices of Reiki, demonstrating proficiency in channeling and utilizing universal life force energy for healing purposes.
